Adria Enters Code Share Agreement with Air India

New Delhi, 14 November (STA) - Slovenian carrier Adria Airways has penned a code share agreement with Air India for the Ljubljana-Frankfurt-New Delhi route.

Adria will put its code on the Delhi-Frankfurt service operated by Air India and Air India will place its code on Adria's Frankfurt-Ljubljana flights.

The agreement was signed in New Delhi Wednesday by Adria CEO Mark Anžur and Air India boss Rohit Nandan as part of a visit by Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec to India.

"We're convinced that the code share agreement will increase traffic between Slovenia and India," Anžur was quoted as saying in an Adria press release.
