Ljubljana, 11 October (STA) - Slovenian carrier Adria Airways plans to start operating flights from two new bases outside Ljubljana next year, in Austria's Klagenfurt and Italy's Verona, according to reports on the EX-YU Aviation News and Austrian Aviation, two industry blogs.

Adria has asked Klagenfurt Airport to station one aircraft there. The airport operator will decide which routes it could operate, Adria boss Mark Anžur told Austrian Aviation.

In Verona, meanwhile, Adria plans to base a Canadier CRJ200 to serve business passengers on routes to Brussels, Vienna and Zurich, serving as feeder flights for Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Swiss International.
