Celje, 31 August (STA) - Banka Celje, which is as member of the NLB group, reported a net profit of EUR 7.3m for the first six months of 2010 on Tuesday, a 19.1% increase year-on-year.
The bank also increased its total assets since the end of last year by 1.7% to EUR 2.6bn.
Crediting to banks was down 6.7% to EUR 82.6m, while loans to other clients were up 0.2% to EUR 1.7bn.
Loans to households increased by 5.2% to EUR 321.9m, while credits to companies decreased by 0.9% or EUR 12.7m to EUR 1.4bn.
The bank added that with the exception of some segments, no serious signs of economic recovery could be observed in the first half of the year.
