Banka Koper Gets EUR 10M EIB Loan

Koper, 29 October (STA) - Banka Koper has obtained a EUR 10m loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB). Under the loan agreement signed on Monday, it plans to use the funds to finance small and medium-sized businesses.

The bulk of the funds will be earmarked for projects worth up to EUR 25m and a smaller portion for municipalities' investments in energy, environment protection, health and education, the bank said on Tuesday.

The loan is the final tranche of a credit line approved in 2011.
