Ljubljana, 22 March (STA) - Those interested in starting a business in Slovenia or merely doing business with Slovenian companies can get all key information about the topic in a new English-language book published online.
Available on the Slovenian Business Portal at www.poslovniportal.si, "Doing Business in Slovenia 2013" is designed to boost the Slovenian economy through foreign investment and doing business with companies from abroad.
The portal also offers the Virtual Fair application enabling Slovenian companies to promote themselves.
The project was launched by the non-profit Centre for International Cooperation and Development in cooperation with the World Bank.
The 140-page book offers a comprehensive insight into the conditions for doing business in Slovenia.
It includes a review of the tax, labour and business legislation and a list of relevant institutions and advice among other things.
The book is also available at web sites of Slovenian embassies abroad as well as on several other domestic and foreign portals.
The book, which has been published since 1993, is also available in printed edition and will be used by Slovenian diplomats as official promotional material this year.
