Ljubljana, 12 September (STA) - A delegation of Slovenian business representatives will visit Turkey's Istanbul on 9 October, accompanying Economic Development and Technology Minister Radovan Žerjav, who will be meeting his Turkish counterpart Mehmet Zafer Caglayan.
As part of the visit, the delegation will take part in a business conference and a number of bilateral meetings with Turkish companies from all sectors, aimed at boosting economic ties and investment between the two countries, the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments (JAPTI) wrote on Wednesday.
According to JAPTI, the Turkish economy is among the biggest in Europe and one of the rare growing economies in the region.
Turkey is also an important trade partner for Slovenian companies in all sectors of the economy.
The one-day visit will be organised by JAPTI and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) in cooperation with Slovenia's Foreign Ministry and Economic Development and Technology Ministry.
