Ljubljana, 25 September (STA) - Business sentiment indicator in Slovenia was up in September, improving by one percentage point over August and eleven points over the same month last year, data from the Statistics Office show. It was also two points above the long-term average.
Business sentiment indicator in manufacturing was meanwhile down by one percentage point, but it was up by three points year-on-year and by four points compared to the long-term average.
The retail indicator was also up by one percentage point compared to August and by tree points year-on-year, but was still two points below the long-term average.
In construction, the business sentiment indicator was level in the monthly comparison, while increasing by five percentage points year-on-year and standing seven points above the long-term average.
Sentiment in the services sector has meanwhile deteriorated, as the relative index was down by one percentage point over August. It was however 20 points above the value from September 2013 and six points above the long-term average.
