Koper, 13 September (STA) - Acting chairman of car parts maker Cimos Jerko Bartolić is taking over as full-fledged boss of the firm on Friday. He has been appointed for the full, five-year term at the last session of the Cimos supervisory board, the company said in a press release today. He was appointed interim chairman in March for up to one year.
Bartolić took over at Cimos as this Koper-based company launched restructuring. He succeeded Franc Krašovec, a years-long director of the now troubled company who resigned after the group posted a EUR 20m consolidated loss in 2012.
Cimos, which faces high debt, has been approved EUR 35m in state guarantees. The company posted EUR 211.7m in operating revenues in the first half of the year and generated EUR 2.2m in profit.
