Ljubljana, 23 April (STA) - Consumer confidence in Slovenia dropped marginally in April. The first monthly decrease since October was driven by increasing pessimism about the state of the economy in the next 12 months.
The consumer confidence index was at -29 points, up a point over the month before but still two points below its level in April 2013.
Households' sentiment about their financial standing in the next 12 months remained unchanged.
However, consumers were more pessimistic about the outlook for the economy and the prospects for savings in the next 12 months.
