Ljubljana, 23 July (STA) - Slovenia's consumer confidence increased by 1 percentage point in July over June, as consumers became more optimistic about employment in the coming 12 months. But on the annual level the consumer confidence indicator dropped by 12 percentage points, the Statistic Office said on Monday.
Five of the indexes measuring consumers' expectations increased on the monthly level. Only the indicator regarding financial position of households for the next 12 months dropped.
Most indexes measuring consumers' expectations on the past and current situation also rose.
The value of the indicator regarding unemployment rate in the next year decreased on monthly level by 3 percentage points, which indicates an improvement.
