Ljubljana, 20 December (STA) - Danish industrial conglomerate Danfoss plans to expand in Slovenia as part of a consolidation drive that involves the closure of a plant in Finland and relocation of production to Slovenia and Poland.
The company will launch a production and competence centre in Kamnik, central Slovenia, in early 2011, the director of the Slovenian subsidiary Danfoss Trata, Aleksander Zalaznik, has told the STA.
The plant will produce heat exchangers for Danfoss's district energy division. It will initially employ 30 staff, the majority of them university graduates.
