Portorož, 13 October (STA) - The Days of Slovenian Tourism, considered the summit of the national tourism industry, will kick off in Portorož on Monday. Until Wednesday tourism stakeholders will debate the industry's challenges and opportunities with a focus on digital marketing.
Presentations will include examples of best practice in mobile marketing, communication through social media, the advantages of Facebook, digital storytelling, and mobile marketing.
A special segment will be dedicated to www.slovenia.info, the main national tourism portal, and awards for achievements in tourism will be handed out.
The event brings together key government and private stakeholders with a view to implementing the strategic objective of strengthening cooperation in the development and marketing of tourism.
