Milan, 08 June (STA) - Five investment projects in Slovenia are featured at this year's EIRE real estate fair in the Italian city of Milan, the Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments (JAPTI) said on Tuesday as the three-day fair got underway.
JAPTI, present in Milan for the second time, is helping promote the Terme Benedikt spa, the Nova Gorica-based EDA center business complex, and the Pohorska livada recreational tourism resort.
Also fishing for investors at the fair will be the Tobacna City complex in Ljubljana and the tourist and recreation centre Repensek Gornji Grad.
A conference on the 5th trans-European transport route as an opportunity for the East is scheduled for Wednesday and will see JAPTI presenting the planned modernisation of railway operator Slovenske zeleznice, road infrastructure projects, the expansion of the Ljubljana airport, the city of Maribor and the Luka Koper port.
A special presentation dedicated to Slovenia is planned for Thursday, JAPTI moreover announced.
The EIRE real estate fair, considered the leading fair of its kind in the Mediterranean, is taking place for the sixth time this year. Last year, the fair featured 350 exhibitors from 49 countries on an exhibition area of 35,000 square metres, attracting around 20,000 visitors.
