Nova Gorica, 25 August (STA) - The shareholders of gaming company Hit failed to discharge on Wednesday its former management and several former supervisors for operations in 2009. They also got acquainted with a lawsuit against the former management, led until April 2009 by Niko Trost, for EUR 2m in damages.
The general assembly on the other hand brought discharge for the new management of the state-owned company, headed by Drago Podbonik and in charge since August last year. The new supervisory board also received a discharge.
The shareholders were moreover presented with a lawsuit against the former managers, filed by the new management on the basis of an audit covering deals conducted between January 2006 and May 2009.
At the centre of the lawsuit is an acquisition of a plot of land in Belgrade, which is believed to have been four times overpaid.
The assembly meanwhile backed the proposal of the management and the supervisory board to earmark nearly the entire distributable profit for 2009 - EUR 450,000 - for dividends. This makes EUR 0.16 gross per dividend.
