Ljubljana, 21 June (STA) - Industrial revenues in Slovenia surged 10.4% year-on-year in April but dropped 3.7% over the month before, according to provisional data released by the Statistics Office on Monday.
On a monthly basis revenues rose only in intermediate goods industries (3.1%) but declined in capital goods industries (-4.5%) and consumer goods industries (-0.9%).
Year-on-year revenues increased the most in intermediate goods industries (21.8), whereas the rise was lower in capital goods industries (8.6%) and modest in consumer goods industries (2.8%).
Orders meanwhile surged 26.1% over the year before and were 0.6% higher than in March.
Orders on the domestic market rose 8.8% over April 2009 and orders on foreign markets jumped 30.1%.
