Koper, 11 November (STA) - Logistics group Intereuropa plans to raise sales revenue to EUR 166m and net profit to EUR 7.8m a year by 2019, up from EUR 161m and EUR 2.2m, respectively, in 2013.
The five-year strategic plan, a summary of which was released on Tuesday on the website of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, also sets down the target of EUR 15.8m in EBITDA and EUR 24.5m in capital expenditure.
By the end of 2019 the group is to employ 1,405 people with the ratio between net debt and EBITDA planned at 3.4%.
The company plans to boost its position as a market leader in comprehensive logistic services in the region of the former Yugoslavia.
The goals include optimising business processes through innovative IT solutions, innovative organisation and preservation of financial stability through divestment, delaveraging and effective management of working capital.
As a provider 3PL logistic services, Intereuropa seeks to develop multimodality, mainly in B2B logistic services and development of logistic hubs in the region.
Planning to keep is presence in the markets of former Yugoslavia plus Albania, the company is ready to expand to the rest of SE Europe in case of demand by key buyers or development opportunities.
Intereuropa generated EUR 161.1m in sales revenue in 2013, returning to net profit for the first time since 2008 at EUR 2.2m with operating profit at EUR 5.3m and EBITDA at EUR 13.8m.
Half-year sales revenue fell by 14% from the first half of 2013 to EUR 70.7m.
