Ljubljana, 09 March (STA) - The Slovenian Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments (JAPTI) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian-Balkans information agency RusBalkanInform, which manages the business portal www.tradeportal.si, aimed at boosting direct business ties among companies.
The agreement was signed in order to allow exchange of information and improve the promotion of Slovenia, the Slovenian investment environment and Slovenian companies, and to boost sales of Slovenian products in Russia and the Balkans, JAPTI wrote in a press release on Wednesday.
Based on the agreement, a special section for Slovenia has already been launched on the portal, where news on the Slovenian economy are being published daily.
Slovenian companies will now have the chance to register themselves on the portal and promote themselves and their products or to look for partners in Slovenia or in other participating countries.
The multi-language web portal currently connects over 2.4 million companies in 12 countries, offering new sales channels, while also making the search for partners easier and reducing advertising costs.
