Ljubljana, 20 July (STA) - A study conducted among 189 investment promoting agencies worldwide has shown the web portal Invest Slovenia, operated by the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments (JAPTI), to be an example of best practice in attracting foreign direct investment. The portal recorded more than 140,000 visitors last year.
The info portal www.investslovenia.org caters for prospective and existing foreign investors who need information about the conditions for doing business and investing in Slovenia or are looking for an appropriate location for their investment, according to a press release from JAPTI.
Apart from an extensive data basis and an application for the search of locations of industrial and commercial zones, the portal also offers a review of investment opportunities in Slovenia. The portal is available in English and partially also in German, Italian and Slovenian. It will also be made available in French shortly.
The Global Investment Promotion Best Practices report, produced by the Investment Climate Department of the World Bank Group, assessed web marketing communication based on information architecture and structure, design and creativity, contents and marketing efficiency of the website.
