Novo mesto, 02 April (STA) - Pharmaceutical company Krka asked on Monday for the listing of its shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the move which the Novo-mesto based company hopes will realise by the end of June.
Krka CEO Jože Colarič announced in February that Krka would try to get listed on the Warsaw stock market as there is too little action on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. He noted that Poland is Krka's second biggest market.
The pharma company, which plans to be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by the end of June, would become the second Slovenian share listed there, after the NKBM bank in May 2011.
Krka also said today it suspended at the end of March the buy back activities for the time being. It currently owns 5.7% of its stock.
