Ljubljana, 15 January (STA) - The group around port operator Luka Koper reported an estimated EUR 8.2m in net profit on EUR 141.7m in operating revenue for 2013. Net profit of the core company is meanwhile projected at EUR 4.2m, the management said in a press release on Wednesday.
The estimate of net profit takes into account additional impairments of the value of real estate and financial investments in the last quarter of 2013 in the amount of EUR 9.8m.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) have been assessed at EUR 39m, and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) at EUR 10.9m, excluding impairments.
The management said that the company broke two records in 2013, reaching the milestones of 600,000 container units and 18 million tonnes of cargo transshipment.
