Ljubljana, 08 November (STA) - New car and van sales in Slovenia saw a spike for a second consecutive month, with data from the Statistics Office showing an annualised increase of 21.33% in October.
A total of 5,199 new cars and vans were sold in August, bringing the total for the first ten months to 49,845, which is 4.44% more than in the same period last year.
While sales were down in the first half of the year, an annual increase of over 20% was registered in September and October.
The number of new car registrations in October stood at 4,600, which is 23% more than in the same months last year.
New van registrations stood at 599, up 9.5% over a year ago.
