Osijek, 05 October (STA) - Poultry producer Perutnina Ptuj started constructing a new dispatching centre through its Croatian subsidiary PIPO Cakovec in Osijek on Wednesday. The launch of the EUR 2m worth project was also attended by Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor.
PIPO Cakovec CEO Predrag Segovic said the project would be fully funded by the company, while the new facility would provide the necessary cooling infrastructure in the supply chain.
Kosor meanwhile said that the trust attested by Perutnina Ptuj "alongside other investments into Croatian companies, means that we have overcome most of practical obstacles and set up a constructive dialogue with the European business world".
Segovic added that the dispatching centre would additionally upgrade the system of Perutnina Ptuj production in Croatia.
