SID Bank Gets EUR 120M to Finance SMEs

Ljubljana, 06 September (STA) - The government approved Friday a EUR 120m facility for the state-owned SID export and development bank. The money, which will be drawn directly from the budget, will be used to finance at least 100 development projects by small and medium-sized companies through 2016.

The funds will also be allocated for favourable debt financing of at least 1,000 SMEs and micro companies, the Government Communications Office said.

The measure is in line with the Slovenian Industrial Policy strategy and the National Reform Programme 2013-2014.
