Ljubljana, 27 September (STA) - SID Banka, the state-owned export and development bank, has concluded the issue of a EUR 150m one-year bond to selected Slovenian and international investors. The bond will be listed in Vienna, the bank said on Thursday.
"We're very happy with the investors' interest, in particular since SID banka is the first Slovenian issuer to enter the international capital markets after the downgrades of Slovenia's sovereign rating," the bank's chairman Sibil Svilan said in a press release.
The state-guaranteed bond has a coupon rate of 3.42%. It was placed with 30 mostly foreign investors from Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Switzerland. Banks bought 52% of the issue.
