Ljubljana, 04 July (STA) - Slovenia ranks 26th among 141 countries in the 2012 Global Innovation Index compiled by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the INSEAD business school, a report shows.
The list is topped by Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Finland and Great Britain, while Sundan has been ranked as the least innovative country.
Slovenia places behind Japan and in front of the Czech Republic. Germany is 15th, Austria 22nd, France 24th, Hungary 31st, Italy 36th and Croatia 42nd.
Last year, Slovenia placed 30th among 125 countries, and it would rank 25th among those countries this year.
