Slovenian Business Delegation Visiting Belgrade

Ljubljana/Belgrade, 08 November (STA) - Representatives of around 20 Slovenian companies started a two-day visit to Belgrade on Thursday under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS), the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Slovenian Embassy.

Meetings are to take place with Serbian entrepreneurs to revive "old trade routes" and build new business ties, the GZS said in a press release.

Representatives of the GZS's Enterprise and Commerce Chamber (PTZ) and Centre for International Business and of 18 Slovenian companies, smaller as well as larger such as port operator Luka Koper and postal operator Pošta Slovenije, are expected in Belgrade, the GZS wrote in a press release.

The business delegation will also participate in a business conference and in a meeting organised by the Slovenian Business Club in Belgrade, which provides a platform for informal networking with the local Slovenian-Serbian business community.
