Ljubljana/Prishtina, 05 May (STA) - Twelve Slovenian companies will be presented at the international Expokos fair running from Wednesday until Sunday in Prishtina. This will be the first time for Slovenian companies to attend what is Kosovo's biggest fair of construction, timber and metal industries and renewable energy sources.
As part of the fair, the Investment Promotion Agency of Kosovo will present the country's investment opportunities at a business conference on Friday, while a meeting of Slovenian and Kosovo companies dealing with renewables will also be organised.
The Slovenian companies, Hib Kranj, P-team, IBV, EEA, Handte-ost, Klima Petek, Mali elektronika, JUB, Meteorit, Marmet, Djumer and Izoterm Plama will be presented at some 160 sq. metres of exhibition grounds, the Chamber of Craft and Small Business (OZS) said in a press release.
The OZS, which organises the presentation of the Slovenian companies in cooperation with the Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments (JAPTI), expects the project to boost business cooperation between Slovenia and Kosovo.
"It should also lead to new deals and subsequently to the growth of Slovenian companies and exports in foreign markets," the OZS noted.
