Slovenian Prefab Homes Makers Feature Strongly at Milan Fair

Milan, 02 October (STA) - Seven Slovenian companies will present their products at the Milan international fair of architecture and construction, which starts on Wednesday and will run until Saturday, the SPIRIT public agency announced.

The fair, which featured 1,500 exhibitors and attracted 230,000 visitors last year, will include a SPIRIT Slovenija-sponsored exhibition space, extending across an area of 206 square metres.

The Slovenian exhibition will feature companies Rihter, Marles Hiše Maribor, Riko Hiše, Jelovica Hiše, Osvetljevalna optika Janez Rihtar, MIPO and the Association of the Wood and Furniture Industry that is part of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS).

"Because of the economic crisis on the Slovenian market many Slovenian makers of wooden prefabricated buildings decided already years ago to step up their search for business opportunities on foreign markets, including the Italian one," Bernard Likar of the mentioned association said before the fair.
