Ljubljana, 15 October (STA) - Telco Telecom Slovenije will head a project as part of which an international pilot smart power grid will be set up, the company said in a press release on Monday. The project eBADGE will feature 13 partners from five countries.
eBADGE, which stands for Development of Novel ICT Tools for Integrated Balancing Market Enabling Aggregated Demand Response and Distributed Generation Capacity, will include partners from Italy, Austria, Germany, Finland and Slovenia.
Its budget stands at EUR 5m, of which the European Commission will contribute EUR 3.2m. Telekom Slovenije signed the contract with the Commission last Friday.
The three-year project will be officially presented on 8 November.
