Small Shareholders of Ljubljanske Mlekarne to Be Bought Out

Ljubljana, 08 August (STA) - The majority owner of dairy Ljubljanske mlekarne, Croatia's Dukat, confirmed at Thursday's general meeting the buyout at EUR 8.75 per share of the remaining small shareholders, who own the outstanding 3.48% of the company's stock.

The small shareholders are to be bought out and paid within ten days from the entry of the decision in the court register. The payment is to be vouched by Societe Generale - Splitska banka.

Dukat is part of the French group Lactalis, which bought 50.3% in Ljubljanske mlekarne in October last year from from financial firm NFD Holding, banks Factor banka and KD banka, asset manager KD skladi and holding Sava.

After approval from the competition watchdog in February, the company was transferred to Dukat, which then increased its stake to 96.52% in May.
