T-2 Reports 18% Growth in EBITDA

Ljubljana, 15 May (STA) - Telecoms operator T-2 reported a solid growth for the first quarter of the year on Wednesday. Earnings before interest, taxes, amortisation and depreciation (EBITDA) rose by 18% on the first quarter of last year to EUR 3m and revenue was up 11% to EUR 13.5m.

The company, which has been in the process of court-mandated debt restructuring since February 2012, also boosted its market position by increasing the number of subscribers by 2.2% from 2012 to 155,000; the number of mobile services users rose by 4.1% and fixed-line users by 1.2%.

T-2 controls more than 50% of the fibre-optic access market and has more than 33,000 subscribers to T4 packages combining internet, television, mobile and fixed-line telephony, according to a press release from the company.
