Ljubljana, 18 August (STA) - Telecommunications services provider T-2 generated EUR 14.3m in net sales revenue in the second quarter of 2014, which is up 9.1% from the same period last year, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation rose to EUR 3.4m, from EUR 3.1m.
The number of subscribers rose by almost 4,000 or 2.4% on the quarterly level, exceeding 172,000 at the end of June, says a report on the company's financial restructuring published by the Agency for Public Legal Records (AJPES) on Monday.
The biggest growth was recorded in the mobile services department, where the number of subscribers increased by 3.6% to 62,177.
A 2.5% increase was reported in optical network services, while VDSL services saw a rise of almost 1%.
Capital expenditure in the first six months topped EUR 5.4m, most of which (EUR 3.8m) was spent on expansion of the network.
The number of staff increased by seven to 309 in the second quarter.
T-2, which marked its 10th anniversary in May, has been undergoing court-mandated debt restructuring since February 2012.
