Ljubljana, 30 April (STA) - Spa resort Terme Čatež group generated EUR 40.5m in sales revenues in 2011, up 1.5% over the previous year, while its net profit was up 31.6% to EUR 2.5m, according to an audited report posted on the website of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday.
The parent company generated EUR 2.95m in net profit, up 1% year-on-year. Its sales revenues were down however, shedding 0.8% to EUR 32.52m.
The spa increased the number of overnight stays in 2011 by 0.2%. The number of overnight stays by foreign visitors increased by 5.4% year-on-year.
Guests staying at Terme Čatež accommodation facilities accounted for 7.3% of all overnight stays in Slovenia in 2011, and 24.1% of all overnight stays in the country's spa resorts.
In 2012, the group plans EUR 45m in operating revenues and EUR 7.5m in operating profit, while net profit is to reach EUR 3.2m.
The parent company meanwhile expects to generate EUR 35.5m in revenues and its operating profit is to reach EUR 5.6m, while net profit is to amount to EUR 3.1m.
