Zreče, 30 March (STA) - Tools maker Unior generated EUR 1.31m in net profit in 2011, a considerable improvement over the year before, when the company made a loss of EUR 2.78m. According to unaudited data, Unior's net revenues were up 23% to EUR 154.6m, the company said in a press release on Friday.
With last year's profit, the company's accumulated loss is just under EUR 7m. In 2011, the company's operating profit topped EUR 5m, up from EUR 1,7m in 2010.
The company also said that its sales were up in the first two months of 2012. During this period, Unior's revenues amounted to EUR 25.1m, up 1.4% year-on-year.
The company's supervisors discussed the unaudited data at a meeting on Thursday.
