Ljubljana, 17 January (STA) - Gross wages in Slovenia rose 9.9% in November over the previous month, mostly as a result of end-year bonuses and more hours worked, the Statistics Office said on Monday.
The average gross wage stood at EUR 1,634.48. Excluding extraordinary payments it would have been EUR 1,507.41.
Moreover, the number of hours worked was 3.7% higher than in October, the statisticians said.
Year-on-year gross wages rose 4.1% in nominal terms and 2.7% in real terms.
The average net wage, at EUR 1,041.19, was 8% higher than in October and up 4.2% year-on-year.
